Stop Thinking and Start Trusting

TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING - PROVERBS 3:5

When I looked up the definition of "thinking" from a Google search, it states that it is the process of using one's mind to consider or reason about something. And the definition of trust is the belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of. These two words require an action. What action will you take? I know for myself, I have taken the action to reason in my thoughts why something is happening in my world. Especially something that it beyond my control. What are some things in your life that you may be going through or have gone through? It may be that you or someone else got an illness, a death of a loved one, maybe why some relationships just don't work the way that you would like them to function, a loss of a job or why something happened to you in the past. I have spent a lot of time in this process with things that have gone on in my life. Time picking it up, putting it down and picking it up again, continually. Does this sound familiar? What does the action of trusting look like to you? It can be difficult, especially in the throws of the many things that can and/or have happened in ones life. Relying on the ability of God, even when I don't feel Him there, can be difficult. But, is there anything stronger than Our God? No, absolutely not! Then why don't we believe in His strength? Why do we pick things up over and over again? Trusting in Our Heavenly Father requires a "big" action. The action of throwing it down at His feet and leaving it there for Him to take care of for us. It requires pray - continual and daily pray. It requires using His word as your guide - studying it and memorizing it. It requires following Him. What does this look like? To me, it is spending time with Him and following His promptings and trusting that He will prosper me, even if His will is not what a prayed. When something, beyond your control, arises, what action will you take? To bless a friend or family member with this inspirational print and/or many other prints, go to www.lookupdesigns.com.
